Hornby Tea Rooms and Post Office has had to make the heart wrenching decision to close until further notice. We have decided that the shops “open” counter poses too great a risk to ourselves and therefore our families and customers. We feel the governments message is clear and encouraging people to venture outside is going against their recommendations. Anyone within the immediate vicinity who’s maybe vulnerable and self isolating and requires a meal please contact the Hornby helpline and we’ll deliver . Our advise for business customers is to take their post to Wray post office or Brookhouse whilst we believe at this stage they are still open!
Like everyone else we can’t wait until this horrendous situation is over!! We can then open our lovely shop again but until then stay safe xx Anthea and Deborah
Hornby tea rooms will be closed tomorrow “Mother’s Day” and apologises for any inconvenience caused 🤔😢 We will however be open Monday 9am until 2pm for s full postal service and take away Thank you 👍🏼👍🏼❤️
Hornby tea rooms are seriously working to government guidelines and as from tomorrow between 9am -2pm we will not be offering a sit down service, we will however still be open for postal services, gifts , cards and take away tea, illy coffee , all day breakfast buns , scones and snacks. Social isolation is not only inevitable but also essential for the health of our nation so we are therefore coming up with ideas of offering a doorstep delivery of homemade, wholesome lunches/dinners….. watch this space folks and keep safe ❤️❤️❤️❤️
During these uncertain times we wish to advise our customers that we are following all the necessary guidelines with regards to the Cornavirus outbreak. We have sanitiser dispensers fitted for your use on entry and exit to the Tearooms and we are regulary sanitising all surfaces that have been used. We will be staying open with a limited menu and to provide postal and banking services but with limited hours.
Our new hours until further notice wil be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9am – 2pm Saturday and Sunday 10am – 2pm We are open for hot drinks and snacks in the Tearooms and there will also be a takeaway service.
Should anyone require anything who is self isolating please contact us and we will arrange a doorstep delivery or in the event that we are unable to deliver we can contact Hornby Helpline.
